Karen has been a dedicated member of the WFS staff since 2003 having previously worked in agriculture for 14 years, She has now been with us for an impressive 21 years.

In her role, Karen efficiently manages day-to-day operations and oversees event organisation, contributing significantly to the success of WFS. Despite never having worked in the service herself, Karen has built up strong relationships with Fire and Rescue Service staff across the UK.

When not working, you’ll likely find Karen having a latte and enjoying a teacake at her local coffee shop. She lives in Norfolk and loves spending time with her family, and walking her dog.

Kerry-Jane joined the WFS team in January 2023, and provides admin support 3 days a week, from the office located in Norfolk.

Whilst never having worked within the Fire and Rescue Service herself, Kerry-Jane totally understands the hard work, dedication, drive and commitment it takes to have a successful and fulfilling career in uniform. She served as a Royal Air Force Medic for 24 years, at UK and overseas locations, and can’t quite believe that she has now been a veteran for 10 years !!

When not in work, she is busy renovating her house with her husband, and any spare time is spent enjoying travelling, keeping fit, and eating good food.
